Parental Notification Policy

Generally, if your student is charged with a serious Code violation that could lead to a removal from residence, suspension or expulsion, you will be contacted before the hearing process. Your student will be strongly encouraged to contact you prior to notification from SCED staff. If a student has been found responsible for a less severe violation, particularly those involving alcohol, parents will receive a letter from our office informing them of the violation after the proceeding is completed. Parents are invited to contact our office to answer any questions.
