The Catholic University of America

Office of Student Conduct & Ethical Development

Pryzbyla Center, Suite 353
Our office coordinates the resolution of violations of the Code of Student Conduct and other university policies and procedures, manages the University's student conduct system, and helps support the development of character & ethics, and the spirit of community on campus and beyond, particularly through providing educational programming and resources to members of the CUA community.

We have developed this website to provide key information for CUA students, faculty/professional staff, parents and residents of the DC metropolitan area.

Issues and incidents involving student conduct are reviewed and addressed by a variety of offices and professionals on campus, mostly in the Office of Student Conduct & Ethical Development, the Office of Residence Life, and the Office of the Dean of Students. Our office provides leadership in coordinating the resolution of these matters and maintains records documenting these incidents.

Please note that matters involving alleged academic integrity violations (i.e. - plagiarism, cheating, fabrication, etc.) are handled by officials in CUA's academic schools, and coordinated through the Office of the Provost.  For more information, please review the university's academic dishonesty page.
